We are now looking for an HR Partner for Barona in Sweden – a broad role where you combine operational HR work with strategic development, taking significant personal responsibility in your daily tasks.

Your Role
As an HR Partner at Barona, you have overall responsibility for the companies' HR matters and serve as a close support to our managers. The role involves significant independence – you drive your work forward, prioritize, and make decisions.
You are our primary HR function in Sweden, working broadly across several businesses, which requires both confidence in your competence and the ability to find your own way forward.
You support approximately 20 internal leaders across four legal entities and numerous different collective agreements. The role reports to the CEO and is part of the management team.
Your Responsibilities
Operational HR Work
- Support and coach managers in matters regarding labor law, work environment, health, leadership, and organizational development
- Handle labor law cases and union relations
- Manage rehabilitation cases and work with sick leave
- Ensure compliance with systematic work environment work
- Handle complex personnel cases
- Participate in the implementation and development of HR/personnel systems
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on employee surveys
- Conduct payroll audits
- Work on policy development and HR-related projects
- Be responsible for recruitment and onboarding, primarily for internal roles
Strategic HR Work
- Actively contribute to business discussions and highlight the consequences of business decisions for the organization, culture, and employees
- Plan for future competence needs (critical roles and internal mobility)
- Drive and develop initiatives within leadership development
- Identify and prevent risks related to labor law and work environment
We are looking for someone who
- Has an academic education in HR or equivalent
- Has several years of experience in broad HR work, minimum 3 years
- Has good experience with labor law and union collaboration, and is accustomed to independently driving negotiations
- Is confident in interpreting and working with collective agreements (focus on white-collar agreements)
- Thrives in a role with significant personal responsibility where you prioritize and drive your own work
- Has a coaching and solution-oriented approach
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
It is an advantage if you have an interest in digitalization and how AI can be used within HR.
Other Information
- Location: Solna (hybrid, 2–3 days/week in the office)
- Start date: August 10th or as agreed
- Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period
- Background check is conducted during the process
