Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will provide the client with data-driven analyses using SQL and data warehouses – covering customers, customer behavior, products, and services – with the aim of identifying sales potentials, supporting product development, and driving efficiencies.

This role requires the ability to structure, clean, and handle large datasets, as well as collaborate and share your knowledge with colleagues. As a consultant, you are expected to have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present your results clearly.

Within the organization, there is a section within Data Science/Business Analysis that works with the analysis and modeling of customer, market, and business data. This section is responsible for delivering analyses and insights to the business to promote customer understanding, product and service development, and general business development.

The assignment involves working closely with the rest of the data science team to deliver analyses to the business, as well as collaborating with other parts of the organization that require these analyses. The main responsibilities for the Business Analyst role include:

• Analyzing data, compiling, and presenting insights and conclusions to stakeholders.
• Actively contributing to the continuous development of methodologies, routines, and guidelines/best practices within data science.
• Participating in improving data quality and database content.
• Acting as a requirement setter and sounding board, providing support to the administration organization.
• Actively participating in the development of analysis work within the analysis group in accordance with the department's business plan.

Based on good knowledge in the field, the Business Analyst is expected to have experience with:

• Working with statistics, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Working with modern analysis tools such as Python, GCP Workbenches/notebooks.
• The ability to adapt situations and express complex questions and messages to different roles and departments.
• Identifying and defining business problems and translating them into analytical questions.
• Working with large structured and unstructured datasets.

To succeed in this role and assignment, you must also demonstrate the following skills:

Required Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of experience in data visualization.
• At least one (1) year of experience in data analysis using Python and GCP Workbenches/notebooks.
• At least one (1) year of experience in operational work with SQL/BigQuery.
• At least one (1) year of experience in statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• More than one (1) year of experience in data visualization.
• Experience from more than one (1) previous assignment working with open source-related data science solutions.
• More than one (1) year of experience in operational work with SQL/BigQuery.
• More than one (1) year of experience in data analysis using Python and GCP Workbenches/notebooks.
• Experience in identifying and defining data-driven work for the benefit of and in consultation with the business.
• Experience in analyzing the Swedish gaming market.

Additional Information

• Start: Desired 2026-08-17, latest 2026-09-14.
• Scope: Until the turn of the year 2026/2027, the assignment is estimated to involve an availability of approx. 100% to cover parental leave. Thereafter approx. 50-100% for the remainder of the assignment duration. The availability may vary during this period, e.g., 100% initially and lower after a few months (depending on the extent of parental leave during this period).
