Sunnerstaskolan is located close to nature in southern Uppsala. The school has approximately 590 students from preschool class to year 5, and an after-school program divided into three sections. At Sunnerstaskolan, competent and dedicated educators work closely with each other, as well as with the school management and student health services.

Description of Duties

As a lower secondary school teacher at Sunnerstaskolan, you will be part of a year-level team consisting of 4 classes, each with its own mentor. Next school year, you will serve as a mentor for a year 3 class. You will teach all theoretical subjects according to the curriculum plan, and together with the rest of the team, you will plan for high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in years 1-3. Experience working as a lower secondary school teacher is considered an asset.

You are flexible and have an easy time adapting your teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites. You see opportunities in change and adjust your working methods to create the best possible learning environment. Furthermore, you create safe, trust-based relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work systematically by planning, organizing, and prioritizing teaching clearly. Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.
