• Through close cooperation with the after-school center and preschool, students' development and learning are positively supported. Here, you play an important role.

About Us

Welcome to Vittinge School in Heby Municipality, located in the beautiful nature of Vittinge between Uppsala and Sala. We moved into completely new premises two years ago and share the building with the preschool. The school is a preschool class to grade 3 (F-3) school and has approximately 55 students. The surrounding nature and forest provide wonderful opportunities for play, movement, and the joy of discovery.

We are a small team consisting of three primary school teachers, one preschool teacher, and one special education needs teacher. The team is an important part of the mission, both in terms of a sharing culture and for jointly developing further structures and conditions for the students' knowledge development.

We are certified in the Green Flag program and have just completed our first year as an eco-school.

• We are looking for you who have a teaching degree with a focus on the earlier years of primary school and are qualified to teach F-3.
• You are a clear leader who collaborates well with students, colleagues, and school management.
• You are a clear role model who builds good relationships with students and their guardians.
• By being interested and creating understanding for others, you work for a respectful working climate.
• You are structured, understand the common mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole.
• You adapt easily to changed conditions and new information; you see opportunities in changes.
• Inclusive learning environments are a matter of course for you, and you create expectations based on the students' abilities.

Previous experience in pedagogical work as a teacher is meritorious.
