Do you want to take a key role in one of Sweden's most expansive companies within sustainable digital infrastructure? EcoDataCenter is now looking for a Senior Business Controller who wants to combine strategic analysis with operational business support in a business with strong growth and significant investments. About the role

EcoDataCenter is in an expansive phase and is now looking for a Senior Business Controller who wants to be part of a unique growth journey. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the FP&A and Business Control function and will act as a strategic support to the company's CFO and management in matters concerning governance, monitoring, financing, and financial planning.

The role also includes personnel responsibility and a responsibility to further develop the Business Control function as the business grows. You will become the CFO's closest partner in matters concerning financial planning, analysis, and business monitoring, with the expectation of wanting to develop both working methods and future structures.

The business is in an exciting transition phase where the focus is gradually shifting from a project and development organization to increasingly including operational facilities where resource optimization and efficiency are the focus. As a Senior Business Controller, you play a central role in creating structure and transparency by ensuring that management has the right decision support at the right time.

Main responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the company's financial planning, analysis, as well as budget and forecasting work.
• Continuous monitoring of the business and project portfolio with a focus on profitability, liquidity, and cash flow.
• Prepare decision support and analyses related to financing, investments, and the company's continued growth.
• Develop reporting, KPIs, control models, and financial processes for both project and operational activities.
• Lead and develop the Business Control function and act as a business partner to the CFO, management, and operations.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you with several years of experience in qualified work within Business Control, FP&A, or similar analytical roles. You have experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business monitoring in a capital-intensive or project-oriented business, preferably within real estate, energy, infrastructure, construction, or contracting.

You have an academic degree in economics, a solid understanding of project accounting and CAPEX investments, and very good skills in Excel. Experience in auditing, Transaction Services, Due Diligence, or other transaction-related roles is highly meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have worked in Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, or Rillion.

You have an easy time building trust, establishing relationships, and getting people on board with change.

The role is based in Stockholm but also involves some presence at the company's facilities in Falun and Borlänge to create understanding of the business and build close relationships with the project and operations teams.
