The Department of Law is one of the larger departments at Stockholm University, with approximately 150 employees and 5,500 students. More than 80 teachers are engaged full-time to teach and conduct the research upon which the education is based. About thirty professors with various legal science specializations are located at the department, which constitutes a dynamic environment with top-class research and a strong international profile.
There are several research institutes and center formations at the department. We are now looking for a research assistant to the Swedish Network for European Legal Studies (SNEF).

Job Description
The Research Assistant at the Swedish Network for European Legal Studies (SNEF) has overall administrative responsibility for the network. The duties include administrative support for the entire network's operations and governance. This involves independent administrative work before and during conferences and seminars arranged by the network. The administrative tasks are performed in collaboration with the network's chairman, steering group, conference organizers, and other administrative staff at the department. The position also includes other tasks, such as maintaining the website and mailing lists, minute-taking at meetings, and financial management.
Qualifications
Applicants must be admitted to undergraduate or advanced level studies and remain enrolled in these studies during the employment period. It is highly meritorious to have completed at least 30 credits in civil law. Experience of similar administrative and research-related work is desirable. Knowledge of and interest in the subject matter of the position are also meritorious. The workload is high at times, so organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude are good qualities for the position. Furthermore, computer literacy and good knowledge of English are required.
About the Position
The position is 40% of full-time and is fixed-term for six months. Earliest possible start or by agreement.
