We are looking for an engaged teacher at Gymnasium Skövde

In this role, you will become part of the Sector for Children and Education. At our organization, the development of children and young people is at the forefront. We provide education from preschool to upper secondary school, striving for a holistic pedagogical approach from ages 1 to 20. You see digital tools as a natural part of your daily work. Who We Are

Gymnasium Skövde is the collective name for the municipality's two upper secondary schools, Kavelbro and Västerhöjd. Together, the schools offer 16 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs with various specializations, as well as an adapted upper secondary school with three national programs and an individual program. We also offer national sports education programs in handball and football. The schools have a broad international network and exchange programs with other countries. We are also part of the Technology College and the Care and Support College. Gymnasium Skövde currently has approximately 2,300 students and 300 employees. Responsibilities

The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in several different courses, as well as serving as a mentor to a group of students. The job also includes workplace visits when students are on their work placements (APL), which requires you to have a driver's license and access to a car.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher in vocational subjects for upper secondary school and has pedagogical experience.
• Is creative, forward-thinking, and possesses the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Has good collaboration skills and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
• Is flexible, receptive, and driven. Working for development and embracing change are prerequisites for the role. Equally important is the ability to drive initiatives and work in groups with the activities and students in focus.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Employment Terms

• Type of Employment: Fixed-term employment (Temporary position)
• Extent: 80%
• Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement.
