We are looking for you who want to work on an hourly basis as an economic crime investigator. Workplace

At the National Economic Crime Bureau in Malmö, operations are conducted at two economic crime chambers and one police operational unit. We are now looking for one or more economic crime investigators for the chambers in Malmö.

Job Description

As an economic crime investigator, you will participate in criminal investigations and work in teams that may include prosecutors, administrators, police officers, and other investigators with special competence in areas such as auditing and analysis. Your duties include, among other things:

  • Collecting and compiling investigation material
  • Analyzing investigation material and writing memoranda
  • Conducting interrogations
  • Participating in raids

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An academic degree in a field relevant to the operations, or equivalent knowledge and experience acquired in another way that the employer deems relevant
  • At least one year of experience with qualified investigative work within the last five years
  • Experience in conducting interrogations
  • Experience in analyzing and structuring large amounts of information
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working with the IT program DurTvå
  • Experience working as an investigator at the National Economic Crime Bureau

The following qualifications are meritorious:

  • Experience working with investigations regarding economic crime
  • Knowledge of tax law
  • Knowledge of accounting
  • Knowledge and experience of how a preliminary investigation is conducted
  • Police education
  • Good knowledge of English
