About the role and responsibilities

Are you an engaged and qualified teacher in Home and Consumer Studies who wants to make a difference every day? Paradisskolan (Grades 4–9) is now looking for a new colleague. Here you will have the opportunity to teach students in grades 6–9 from different teaching teams and help create an inspiring learning environment where students' curiosity and desire to develop are at the center.

Paradisskolan is a place for diversity and learning. Here, approximately 400 students from grades 4 to 9 meet in a safe and stimulating environment. As a teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to plan and conduct teaching in Home and Consumer Studies. You will serve as a mentor for students together with a colleague and contribute to our joint work on structure, responsibility, and quality in teaching. You will have the opportunity to influence your teaching and to develop together with an engaged team of colleagues.

We offer a stimulating workplace with engaged colleagues, close collaboration, and a shared focus on student development. With us, you will help create a learning environment where structure, respect, and curiosity are natural parts of everyday life.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with subject competence and who have the ability to translate the school's governing documents into practice. You are creative in your teaching, have good ICT skills, and meet the variation in the classroom with confidence and engagement. You build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and contribute to creating a good working environment for everyone.

The school's development work is focused on strengthening the quality of teaching – structure, responsibility, and preparation. We strive for enhanced collaboration and a shared responsibility for each student.

The school is centrally located in the western part of Trollhättan, in the Källstorp area.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified/certified teacher in Home and Consumer Studies. It is meritorious if you are qualified in additional subjects at the lower secondary level. You should have good pedagogical and social competence, be well acquainted with the primary school's governing documents, and have good knowledge of food.

We see that you are flexible in your working methods and have good collaboration skills.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
