Welcome to apply to our school. Töråsskolan is a grades F-6 school with one class in each grade level. There are approximately 145 students in total at the school. The school also has an after-school center.

The school's student health services play a central role in the school's work, both preventively and supportively, and are active in values-based work.

Access to a school counselor and school nurse, special education teacher, and special needs pedagogue is available.

We all work as a team and solve any challenges together. Our priority areas are the Swedish language and we actively work to create a common set of values.

Responsibilities

You will become an important part of a team for grades 4-6. We work very closely together in grades 4-6; all students are everyone's students! Everyone at the school works actively with safety and working environment, for both educators and students. The team works across class boundaries, which we see has provided increased safety for the students. You will teach some parts of the lessons, and your colleagues will teach the other parts. We are good at supporting each other and there are usually two adults in the classroom.

The school has common break activities during the mornings where you are expected to contribute/be the supervisor. The break activities are organized and carried out within the framework of school collaboration. You are expected to help and support so that collaboration can take place! The position may be adapted based on your qualifications and expertise.

Qualifications

• You are a certified teacher for grades 4-6 and work systematically to improve students' conditions to achieve maximum goal fulfillment.
• You are well acquainted with the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22) and plan your teaching based on the steering documents.
• You have experience of working in a school.
• You are knowledgeable about working with extra adaptations.
• You are flexible regarding both content and working hours, all to meet our students in the best possible way.
• You are clear, organized, well-structured, receptive, and most importantly - a team player.
• You are engaged in your assignment and passionate about leading students in their development, both academically and socially.
• You have a good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You enjoy leading and/or driving development issues, promoting new thoughts and ideas with your colleagues to move Töråsskolan forward.
• You are solution-oriented and have the ability to create a good atmosphere and a good working environment.
• You see the benefits of collegial learning.
• You see that collaboration and shared vision benefit students' development.

Your collaboration is deeply linked to your ability to cooperate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations. Here, this means that you have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both at your own workplace and in the rest of the municipal group. You treat everyone with a high service level, kindness, and high quality through a customer- and service focus. You take responsibility for making yourself involved in operational issues and are solution-oriented.
