Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 4–6, you are responsible for the students' knowledge development and social development in close collaboration with colleagues.

The position includes:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in several subjects according to the curriculum.
• Creating a safe, study-promoting, and stimulating learning environment.
• Adapting teaching based on students' needs and prerequisites.
• Following up and documenting students' knowledge development.
• Working preventively and promotively for safety, well-being, and attendance.
• Being a mentor/class teacher with responsibility for student contact and collaboration with guardians.
• Collaborating with colleagues in work teams and subject teams.
• Participating in the school's systematic quality work and development efforts.
• Collaborating with the student health team when necessary.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach in grades 4–6.
• Have broad subject eligibility, preferably in several of the middle school's theoretical subjects.
• Have good ability to plan and implement teaching based on regulatory documents.
• Work in a structured manner and have clear leadership in the classroom.
• Have good ability to create safe and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Have an inclusive approach and can adapt teaching to students' different needs.
• Are flexible, collaboration-oriented, and actively contribute to the school's development work.
• Have good digital competence and use digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent.
• Start date: August 10, 2026, or according to agreement.
• Working hours: Daytime.
