The Department of Otorhinolaryngology is looking for a healthcare administrator who wants to become an important part of our team. Here you will have a central role where documentation, dictation writing, and the development of our digital services are vital for patients and staff.
What We Offer
In our operations, we always put the patient first. The Department of Otorhinolaryngology is a regional department consisting of, among other things, two clinics: one at the University Hospital in Linköping and one at Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping. Our operations perform surgery and outpatient care in Linköping and Norrköping. The department as a whole consists of inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, hearing care clinics, a translation center, speech therapy, and a secretariat. The department comprises just over 230 employees.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic healthcare administrator for a fixed-term position of approximately one year. You will work in a team where communication and collaboration are key. The secretariat at the department is a merged unit located in two cities: the University Hospital in Linköping and Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping. Your placement will be at the University Hospital in Linköping.

Job Description
We offer you stimulating and varied work where you will be part of a cohesive team and perform healthcare administrative tasks at our department. There are 18 employees in total at the unit: 16 healthcare administrators and two administrators. We work on many of our tasks across city borders and share responsibility for our dictations.
As a healthcare administrator with us, you will have tasks related to patient documentation in the region's medical record system, Cosmic. You will receive a mentor when you start with us who will support you in your onboarding at the department. A large part of the work consists of medical record documentation, which requires linguistic accuracy. When you are experienced and able to work independently, there is an opportunity to work remotely.
Our working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.
About You
We are looking for you who have a university college education as a healthcare administrator or equivalent education as a medical secretary.
You thrive working in a team and collaborate easily, but you can also work independently. Good computer skills are a prerequisite, and experience with the medical record system Cosmic is a requirement, as it is a central part of our daily work. You thrive in a work environment with a high pace, as our department is highly productive and we have a large influx of dictations.
You are flexible and adapt easily to changed circumstances in daily work. It is important that you can communicate clearly and listen attentively. We are looking for someone who is engaged, confident, and contributes to a positive work environment. Great importance is placed on your personal qualities.

This is a fixed-term position with an start date of August 31, 2026, for approximately one year.
In connection with employment in a patient-facing role within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to fill out a health declaration.
