We are facing an exciting time of change at Hyresbostäder. Our vision is to contribute even more to the development and growth of Norrköping.
We want to further strengthen our collaboration with our tenants and partners to jointly improve and develop our buildings, areas, and our tenants' homes. Our change work involves a number of initiatives and projects aimed at creating economic stability over time and being a clear role model in social and ecological sustainability.
As a Process Leader in District Development, you will play a key role in the transformation journey that has now begun.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Community Corner is the district's living room – a safe, open, and inclusive meeting place where residents, civil society, businesses, and public actors jointly promote the development of the individual and the district.
The role of Process Leader in District Development is responsible for the strategic and operational work at a Community Corner in collaboration with the activity coordinator and partner actors. With a strategic perspective, you will identify connections, opportunities, and long-term paths forward for a district. At the same time, you work with the operations, where you, together with residents and local actors, turn ideas into action.
With patience, endurance, and genuine engagement, you build trust, strengthen collaboration, and contribute to developing safe, attractive, and vibrant districts where people want to live, work, and participate.
The role is rooted in the concept of Community Organizing, which involves mobilizing, organizing, supporting, and inspiring residents to drive the change and development they wish to see in their district themselves. The Process Leader in District Development works based on the goals, values, and methods applicable to the operations.
WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for you who are passionate about social sustainability and truly want to make a difference in people's daily lives. You need to have experience working in areas such as social services, schools, or similar operations. Practical experience with the methods MI (Motivational Interviewing) and ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) and/or social development work in districts is advantageous. You believe in people's own strength and are driven by creating conditions for participation and change.
You contribute by engaging people, building strong relationships, and creating conditions for collaboration and development. With a strategic perspective, you can look up, see the big picture, and understand how different initiatives and events affect each other over time. This enables you to contribute to sustainable solutions that create long-term value.
You understand that development is built on trust, collaboration, and endurance. By mobilizing, supporting, and inspiring others, you create engagement and participation in change work. You are confident in yourself and contribute to an open dialogue where constructive feedback is seen as a natural part of learning and development.
You are curious and brave enough to challenge conventional ways of working and question established truths when necessary. With creativity, innovative thinking, and a willingness to try new paths, you see opportunities where others see obstacles.
WORTH WORKING FOR

In addition to your varied and independent tasks, we offer a wonderful sense of community with good collaborations and the right conditions to do a good job. We want you to feel at home – even when you are at work!
