Do you want to work in a role where quality, safety, and control meet advanced technology?
In the role of Quality Engineer, you will have a central and significant position where you are responsible for reviewing, controlling, ensuring quality, and developing processes that directly impact the production of some of the world's most advanced flight systems. We welcome your application!
About the role:
As a Quality Engineer, or Technical Auditor depending on your seniority, you will become a key person working closely with production and reviewing both internal processes and external suppliers. You are responsible for ensuring that working methods, material flows, and processes comply with current regulations and requirements, including but not limited to ISO 9001, as well as specific production steps such as surface treatment.
The work includes both document reviews and practical audits in the production area. In more technically advanced areas, you will receive support from internal specialists, so you do not need to have deep expert knowledge in every process from the start. If you have previous experience in technical auditing, you will be given greater responsibility more quickly, but we also welcome applications from those who have not yet worked as responsible auditors.
Travel is an important part of the role when you are out at external suppliers for audits. This usually happens about once a month. The trips are primarily within Europe, but may also occur in other countries, such as the USA and Brazil.
You will:
- Conduct internal and external audits at suppliers to ensure that the manufacturing process follows current regulations.
- Identify and document deviations and follow up on corrective actions
- Work with requirement specifications and regulations within ISO 9001 and specific standards
- Contribute to continuous improvements and a safe, quality-assured production flow
Your profile:
Essential requirements
- At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in quality work within industry and/or technical auditing.
- Interest in quality, standards, and processes
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Meritorious qualifications
- CANEA auditor training (ISO 9001/14001/45001)
- Experience from process industry, surface treatment, or materials technology
