About the Company

Are you a meticulous and analytical accountant who thrives on varied tasks and wants to be part of a finance department in development? Then this might be the assignment for you.

We are now looking for an accountant for a well-established organization in Östergötland. You will become part of the central finance function where you work closely with colleagues in accounting and controlling to ensure high quality in reporting and financial statements.

This is a temporary-to-permanent position (contract-to-hire), meaning you start your employment as a consultant with Unik Resurs with the ambition to transition into a permanent position with the client after an agreed period.

Responsibilities

As an accountant, you will play a key role in the company's financial operations. You will participate in the annual accounts and reporting for several companies and actively contribute to the development and improvement of processes and routines within the accounting area.

You work in close collaboration with other finance functions and support colleagues within the department as needed.

Key Tasks

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
• Be responsible for reconciliations and financial analyses
• Participate in reporting work
• Contribute to the development and efficiency of processes and routines
• Support the finance department with ongoing financial matters

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a relevant post-secondary education in economics or accounting, or equivalent experience assessed as comparable.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Experience in qualified accounting work
• Good knowledge of accounting and annual accounts
• Good understanding of accounting rules and legal requirements
• Experience with financial and business systems
• Meritorious: Experience from accounting or audit firms, as well as experience from larger operations or group environments.

As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and responsible. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your work even when the pace is high and tasks vary.

You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a natural holistic perspective. At the same time, you enjoy collaboration and contribute a positive attitude towards change, development, and new ways of working.
