Your Role

As a teacher with us, you teach mathematics, Swedish, English, and Social Studies/Natural Sciences (SO/NO) in Year 4. You are responsible for:

• Planning, teaching, and evaluation.
• Documentation and communication via Schoolsoft.
• Creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where all students can develop from their own level.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach Years 4–6 in mathematics, Swedish, English, and Social Studies as well as Natural Sciences. Experience in teaching is an advantage.

You are:

• Creative and inspiring, with the ability to enthuse students.
• Receptive and see each student's strengths as a starting point.
• Comfortable in multicultural environments and curious about new knowledge.
• Accustomed to integrating curriculum goals (KL) and genre pedagogy in various subjects.
• Good at handling conflicts and challenging situations in a calm and respectful manner.

About Us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The Administration's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations as well as work for coordination between school and working life.

The position is located at Tyringe School. We have a close collaboration and development work with the principal's area for F-6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we will work with three focus areas during the school year: student participation, students' language skills, and safety and study environment.

Tyringe School has a fantastic location centrally placed in Tyringe with proximity to nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. In close connection to the school area are also Tyrehallen, Tyrshage, and Tyrs Hov, a sports facility with a sports hall, swimming pool, ice hall, and bowling hall under the same roof. The school is located near the train and bus station. We are an F-9 school with approx. 600 students, divided into two principal areas.
