The Employment Administration works to promote the municipality's growth by creating conditions for residents to have lifelong learning and be self-sufficient. We do this with a focus on skills supply and through coordinated operational services to businesses, where we address complex societal challenges with innovative approaches. The administration consists of three departments: Employment, Quality and Coordination, and Campus Trelleborg, and has approximately 100 dedicated employees.

The Employment Administration in Trelleborg is responsible for employment issues, financial assistance, establishment of newly arrived immigrants, municipal adult education, University College, and skills supply issues. You are welcomed to a newly formed unit and workplace, aiming to get more residents into work within the framework of the activity requirement introduced in the Social Services Act from July 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
We are looking for you who want to take the next step in your career as an Employment Secretary with a focus on Swedish language development. You will step into a new role where you have good opportunities to influence content, methods, and structure.
In this role, you work on strengthening participants' Swedish skills related to work. You plan and lead group language activities, such as vocational Swedish, and also carry out individualized interventions based on each participant's needs and level. A significant part of the work takes place at workplaces, where you support participants in their language development in a real working environment.
You work both independently and collaboratively. You are responsible for planning and implementing your interventions, while collaborating closely with colleagues such as employment secretaries, advisors, recruiters, and supervisors.
The work is varied and may also involve adapting interventions to different industries, depending on participants' goals and labor market needs. The position may involve work in both Trelleborg and Svedala municipalities.
In the role, you plan and lead group language training, such as vocational Swedish, and adapt content and structure based on participants' different levels, goals, and conditions. You also conduct individual support measures and work practically with language development at workplaces, where you support participants in their daily lives and in their transition to working life. A key part of the assignment is also to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to joint planning and development of the operations.
The role offers great opportunities to influence and shape the content of a new position. You work closely with participants' development and have the opportunity to follow their progress and see concrete results of your work. The assignment combines pedagogy, practice, and the labor market, offering a varied workday that alternates between office work, group activities, and interventions at workplaces.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university degree of at least three years with a behavioral science or pedagogical orientation. You have experience in labor market-oriented work where you have coached, guided, and motivated individuals to work or studies, preferably in groups. You also have pedagogical experience, and it is particularly meritorious if you have worked with teaching Swedish as a second language or other language-developing work with adults.
You have good knowledge of labor market issues and an understanding of the tasks of various authorities and how they collaborate. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
A B-driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement as travel occurs in the position.

You work service-oriented with the resident in focus and have a strong belief in the individual's own ability to develop, take responsibility, and achieve self-sufficiency.
You are pedagogical, structured, and meticulous, with the ability to prioritize and maintain focus even at a high pace. Furthermore, you are goal- and result-oriented and have experience documenting your work.
The role requires that you can work flexibly in a constantly developing operation. You are creative, take initiative, and have the ability to make independent decisions.
