Nya Skolan Primary Schools (Grades F-9)

Nya Skolan is expanding, and we need a new colleague for the middle school grades 4-5 at Nya Skolan Pettersberg. The position is a permanent employment with a start date in August 2026.

Nya Skolan Pettersberg has a well-functioning organization with both experienced educators and principals. Work is carried out together in teams, with close collaboration with Nya Skolan's competent student health team.

Description

Our educators work in teams where they share joint responsibility for all students within the team. When students are at school, the educators are active in the operations. In the afternoons, teachers prepare, document, and plan the operations together in their team.

Qualifications

We see you as an open person who is calm and confident in yourself, where collaboration is seen as a matter of course. You are creative, proactive, and independent, as well as positively inclined towards the development of the operations and the educational environment. In our teaching, we use ICT tools such as Smartboards and iPads, and communicate with guardians via the learning platform InfoMentor. You should have insight into the school's governing documents and the laws that regulate the school's operations, as well as experience in pedagogical documentation.

Nya Skolan works with age-integrated groups. The division is flexible and adapted to pedagogical needs and the children's interests and maturity. Together, we create an atmosphere where knowledge is fun and learning is an exciting adventure.

Holistic View

Pedagogically, we work with wholes. We teach children to see connections and to develop conscious and reflective thinking. We work cross-curricularly and gladly find new, creative ways to stimulate students' search for knowledge. It is about taking advantage of children's natural drive – curiosity – in all situations.

Student and teacher set goals together for what the student should do each week. The starting point is that the student is involved in their own learning.

We know that self-esteem and self-confidence are the keys to development and that recognition and challenges are the best tools.

We also know that students need frameworks and rules to relate to, and that good academic results require structure and order. When it feels good in the gut, then school is fun and learning is an exciting adventure…

Nya Skolan AB currently consists of four preschools and three primary schools located in Trollhättan and Lilla Edet municipalities.
