Assignment Description

We are seeking a Configuration Manager.

What You Will Work On

• Develop and improve Configuration Management practices across engineering teams
• Manage and enhance software traceability in large-scale systems
• Define and optimize branching strategies (e.g., Git/Gerrit workflows)
• Support and improve change management processes
• Evaluate current CM tools, workflows, and processes
• Drive automation within Configuration Management and related workflows
• Integrate CM processes with CI/CD pipelines
• Support engineering teams in adopting standardized CM practices
• Translate business and engineering needs into structured CM solutions
• Ensure high-quality documentation of configuration and change processes
• Contribute to compliance, governance, and process standardization
• Identify and implement process improvements in software lifecycle management
• Collaborate with DevOps, software engineers, and system teams
• Support scalable configuration and release strategies across products

What You Bring

• Experience in Configuration Management in large-scale engineering environments
• Strong understanding of software traceability principles
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, preferably Gerrit)
• Experience with change management processes in engineering contexts
• Ability to translate business needs into technical/process requirements
• Experience working with branching strategies and release workflows
• Understanding of automation in software engineering environments
• Experience in documentation and structured process management
• Strong quality-oriented mindset and attention to detail
