RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to work as a System Engineer and thrive in a role where both technology and collaboration are in focus. You will be a central part of our administration organization and work closely with our system administrators, users, and technical specialists in the municipality.

This role suits you if you like taking responsibility, want to understand how systems are used in operations, and feel confident being the technical link between IT and the business units.

Your tasks

As a System Engineer, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for the technical operation of several business systems
• Perform installations, upgrades, and configurations, primarily in Windows Server environments
• Work with SQL Server for troubleshooting, database administration, performance analysis, and scripting
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems in collaboration with system administrators and suppliers
• Provide technical expert support in the administration's processes such as incidents, change management, and improvement work
• Participate in projects related to new solutions or further development of existing systems
• Monitor the health, security, and performance of systems
• Document technical changes and routines

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, we believe you have the following profile:

An engaged employee with a background in IT operations who wants to help ensure stable, secure, and high-quality deliveries. In this role, you are an important part of the operations and contribute with both your technical competence and your ability to translate requirements into practical, working solutions.

You have a good understanding of the importance of high IT security and work actively to ensure that our solutions meet both internal requirements and external regulations. Security is a natural part of your work, and you have a conscious and structured approach in everything from planning to implementation.

You collaborate easily with both technical and non-technical colleagues and can explain technical solutions in a simple and clear way, with a focus on the customer's needs.

We are therefore looking for you who are unpretentious and thrive in an environment where collaboration and shared responsibility are central. You take initiative, drive your work forward, and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and carry out tasks in an independent and efficient manner. At the same time, you are responsive to the needs of the operations and contribute to a good work climate.

Requirements

• Very good experience with Windows Server
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Documented multi-year experience in server operations in a Windows environment
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience with Linux
• Experience with integration platforms
• Understanding of ITIL
• Knowledge in PowerShell or other automation

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent. Start date: 2026-09-01.
