Are you a developer or systems engineer looking to take the next step into a role with greater overall responsibility? We are now looking for an IT Systems Engineer for a technically advanced operation where you will work with the development, integration, and further development of IT systems in complex environments.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will become part of a leading company within the marine defense industry, working in the Information Security and IT Architecture section. Here, IT systems for marine platforms are developed and further developed with a focus on information security and robust solutions for complex IT environments. The team consists of approximately 25 people with varying experience, and you will work closely with IT architects, information security specialists, and other IT Systems Engineers.

In this role, you will work on the development and further development of IT systems for marine platforms. You will become part of a complex IT environment where in-house developed solutions are combined with commercial software to create robust and secure systems. You will work closely with developers, systems engineers, and other technical specialists to ensure that IT systems meet both operational and technical requirements throughout the entire development process, from analysis and design to implementation, integration, verification, and documentation.

• Develop and further develop IT systems and associated infrastructure.
• Work with system configuration, scripting, and automation.
• Participate in the integration and verification of IT systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Have a completed university or college education in software development, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Have at least one year of experience working with IT systems, software development, or infrastructure development.
• Have experience or interest in system development, scripting, and Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

It is meritorious but not a requirement if you have:

• Military background.
• Knowledge of DevOps and/or DevSecOps.
• Experience in product development.
• Experience working with complex and distributed systems.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where the customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
