We are currently looking for an experienced Android Developer for a consultancy assignment with one of Sweden's leading players in financial services. You will become part of an agile development team responsible for the development and further development of the company's mobile applications, which have high demands on quality, security, and user experience. This is a full-time consultancy assignment starting on August 3, 2026, and ending on January 30, 2027.

About the assignment

In this role, you will work with native Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You will be involved throughout the entire development process, from idea and design to implementation, testing, and delivery. You will contribute to developing scalable and high-quality solutions while collaborating closely with other developers, architects, and product owners.

You will also be part of a competence forum together with other Android developers, focusing on knowledge sharing, technical discussions, and the joint development of the platform.

We are looking for you who have

• Extensive experience in Android and app development.
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Navigation, Coroutines, and Flows.
• Experience in developing and integrating with REST APIs.
• Experience with UI tests, unit tests, and WireMock for mocking.
• Good proficiency with Git, Repo, Jenkins, and Swagger.
• Experience with Java, XML layouts, RecyclerView, and ViewBinding for working with both modern and legacy code.
• Knowledge of secure network communication and certificate management.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience from banking, finance, or other security-critical operations.
• Experience working in complex environments with high demands on quality, security, and availability.
