Your Role

We are looking for a driven and technically skilled System Administrator who wants to take a key role in our engaged team. Do you have a passion for stable operations, automation, and working close to business-critical systems in production? Then this might be the right opportunity for you!

As a System Administrator, you will work with the operation, maintenance, and development of our production-proximate IT systems. You will become an important part of the team that ensures high availability, performance, and security in our technical environments. You will work both operationally and developmentally, focusing on optimizing and automating our systems and processes.

In addition to the above, the role involves:

• Automation of routines and processes through scripting (e.g., Azure DevOps or PowerShell)
• Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of server environments (Windows/Linux)
• Troubleshooting and incident management in production environments
• Installation, configuration, and further development of systems and services
• Working with integrations and data flows between different systems
• Performing system updates and security work
• Documentation and continuous improvement of technical solutions
• Collaboration with both internal teams and external suppliers

Your Profile

You are a technically curious person with good energy and social skills who likes to understand how things work in depth. You take responsibility, are proactive, and thrive in a role where you get to combine operations, development, and improvement work. You have a great interest in technology and want to be part of creating stable and efficient IT solutions that support the business.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in system administration or similar technical roles within support/maintenance
• Good knowledge of server operations (Windows and Linux)
• Experience with scripting and automation as well as SQL and database management
• Basic knowledge of networking
• Experience working in environments with high availability requirements and experience with PAM
• Good problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to work
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Advantageous Qualifications

• Experience with production-proximate or business-critical systems
• Knowledge in monitoring (CheckMK), log management, or performance optimization
• Experience in Jira and sprint work
• Experience in case management and ServiceNow

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently valid regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
