With the goal of "Developing world-class competence for a sustainable future and a good life", the Nature Management Administration runs education within upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, and university college level vocational education. The nature schools Axevalla Hästcentrum, Svenljunga, Sötåsen, Uddetorp, and the Biological University College function as competence centers for the growth and development of the green industries. Together with businesses and researchers, the administration drives energy projects and pilot activities at the forefront at the schools. The Nature Management Administration is part of the Region Västra Götaland.
About the school
Nature School Svenljunga is located on the outskirts of the Svenljunga community with proximity to nature, forests, and land, and at the same time only three miles from Borås. Here, tomorrow's workforce is trained in two expanding industries – forestry and nature tourism. The school offers the Nature Program at the upper secondary level, university college level vocational education, and adult education (KOMVUX). We are a resource-strong school with just over 150 students at the upper secondary level, with dedicated staff, short decision-making paths, and great opportunities to influence. Our goal is to be at the forefront, and we are certified as a Technology College.
