Description

Lindåsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 700 students, organized into three classes per grade level and four after-school care units. Our work teams are characterized by great commitment, high competence, and joy in working. The school is beautifully located near both forest and sea, with excellent transport connections.

Job Responsibilities

You will work at one of our after-school care units in the afternoons and teach Physical Education (PE) for grades 3 and 4 during school hours. Close collaboration with colleagues, both during school hours and after-school time, is of utmost importance to us. We work together in strong teams for the benefit of the students throughout the day. By leveraging each other's competencies and professions, we complement one another, which we see as a cornerstone for creating safety, well-being, and opportunities for social and academic development for the students.

We are proud of our after-school care activities, and you will be involved in developing learning and driving our systematic quality work forward together with your colleagues. The students' interests and needs are at the center, and we have structured forms for development work and planning together with other colleagues.

Qualifications

You are educated and qualified as a teacher in after-school care with a focus on Physical Education & Health. You have a strong commitment to working with our students within the mission of the after-school care, as well as for teaching in the subject of Physical Education & Health.

You have a positive view of people and recognize the strong sides of every child, which you also emphasize in your contact with students and their guardians. You see that differences enrich the work with students. At our after-school care centers, play is fundamental to learning and a springboard into new knowledge. Relationships and social interaction are other key building blocks of our operations.

As a person, you are communicative, curious, receptive, driven, and creative in your interaction with students and in planning operations. You value collaboration, work purposefully, and think wisely together with others. You thrive in and see the benefits of working structured in teams, and you are secure in your professional role. You consider it important to be part of the student's entire day, and during school hours, you know how your professional role can strengthen the student's safety and learning opportunities. You need to be able to work both independently and together with colleagues during school days and after-school time, being flexible based on needs and conditions. You are well-rooted in our governing documents and current research, using a scientific approach. You have a strong commitment to children's learning, clear leadership, and are a secure role model for the students.
