About the role

As a permanent upper secondary school teacher with us, you have an important and versatile role. You step in when our regular teachers are absent and ensure that teaching continues in a good way. You also work as an extra support for the students, both during lesson time and in the school corridors. The position also includes work during our holiday school.

In the event of planned absence, it is also part of your work to recruit substitutes from an existing substitute list.

Your main responsibilities

• Coordination of substitute-related tasks.
• Stepping in as a substitute for short-term absences and conducting lessons.
• Helping students with all subjects in upper secondary school.
• Being a secure adult and supporting students in the classroom and during breaks.
• Teaching at the holiday school to help students reach their study goals.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to young adults and their education. As a person, you are calm, flexible, structured, and quickly build good relationships.

You have experience with low-affective handling (calm, non-confrontational interaction).

We see that you are confident in teaching even in subjects you are not formally qualified in.

Requirements for the position:

• Licensed upper secondary school teacher with good knowledge of upper secondary school subjects.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience working with young people, for example within schools, sports, or community life.
• You are a licensed upper secondary school teacher and also hold a vocational teacher degree.
