Description

We are now looking for a teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MA/NO) for grades 7-9, as well as for our FBK and FLEX activities. This position is a parental leave substitute and will run for the entire autumn term of 2026. The position is full-time (100%).

Santosskolan is located on Campus Lindholmen and was established in the autumn of 2015. The school accommodates approximately 400 students in grades 7-9 and around 50 staff members. Since the autumn of 2021, we have been part of School Area Hisingen 8, together with Herrgårdsskolan (grades F-6).

Job Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher with us is to provide guidance and stimulation that individuals and groups need in their learning through varied and adapted teaching. We also encourage you to promote new perspectives and challenge norms through dialogue and great engagement.

You will also play an important role as a mentor together with your colleagues. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in your subjects. We see collaboration and lack of hierarchy as key words for the teacher we are looking for.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach Mathematics and Natural Sciences in grades 7-9. Previous experience in a similar role is meritorious but not a requirement. Here, it is important that you can quickly build good and professional relationships with our students. Our FBK activity consists of approximately 10 students, and to be successful in meeting these students, you need to be comfortable with translanguaging and willing to utilize your full repertoire to provide quality teaching while challenging them in the Swedish language.

You are an engaged teacher with good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You meet each student based on individual prerequisites and needs while working at the group level.

You have a structured way of working and are skilled at inspiring and motivating students to discover and learn for themselves. You work systematically and develop your teaching both individually and together with colleagues. We are looking for you who, together with colleagues, can create a good and accessible learning environment for our students.

Requirements:

• Certified teacher with eligibility in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for grades 7-9
• Quick to build good relationships with students
• Very good knowledge of Swedish
