At Åby School, we work in teams, both by grade level and in mixed-age groups, with a holistic perspective on the student's entire school day. We are a team of approximately 50 staff members working on students' goal achievement and well-being from an inclusive and health-promoting approach.

Your role:

You will become part of the after-school center's team and be responsible for planning and implementing activities with children at the after-school center during regular school days and school holidays.

Working hours are according to the schedule (variations between 06:30–18:00, rotating Fridays) but may need to be adjusted based on operational needs.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our after-school activities. You are a qualified teacher specializing in after-school care. You are engaged, have clear ideas about how a good operation should function, and have the ability to realize your ideas. You contribute to meaningful break-time activities and want to develop this part of the operation. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with your colleagues at the workplace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

During leisure time, you work on developing students' knowledge, social skills, and abilities based on the after-school center's curriculum, Lgr 22, chapters 1, 2, and 4, as well as based on students' needs, interests, and experiences.

• You meet students individually and spread a positive atmosphere around you.
• You build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You work both independently and collaboratively with others.
• You are a clear leader, both as a teacher in music or sports and as a staff member at the after-school center.
• You have an eye for what interventions students and the operation need.

Experience with CPS is considered an asset.
