We are looking for you who are a confident leader and passionate about teaching subjects such as Swedish. You want to help create an stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment where students' linguistic self-confidence can grow. With a conscious language-developing approach, you awaken students' curiosity and desire to learn.
About the position
As a Swedish teacher, you are responsible for teaching in grades 7–9. Your role involves planning and conducting teaching based on scientific grounds, placing spoken and written language at the center.
To reach all students, we place great emphasis on varied teaching. You understand the value of alternating between literature reading and writing with oral presentations, digital tools, and interactive language exercises.
In the classroom, you are a good and very confident leader who creates a level atmosphere where students dare to speak, write, and develop. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and active participation in the school's quality work. The role also includes mentorship.
We believe in meeting every student where they are linguistically and giving them the tools they need to express themselves, analyze their surroundings, and succeed in all school subjects.
We are looking for you who:
- Are a certified teacher in Swedish and another subject for primary school grades 7–9.
- Have a confident and clear classroom leadership that creates a conducive study environment, safety, and an inclusive atmosphere.
- Are passionate about a language-developing approach and have the ability to make language learning lively, relevant, and engaging for students.
- See the strength in varied teaching and can adapt your methods to suit different learning styles and age groups.
- Have a professional approach to assessment, incorporating formative methods to make students' progression towards knowledge requirements visible.
- Are responsible and solution-oriented.
Other information
The position is a permanent (100%) employment with a 6-month probation period. Start date: Autumn Term 2026. We conduct ongoing selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
