You are welcome to apply for the position of teacher in Swedish and English at one of Stockholm's most beautiful inner-city schools, Sofia School, located on East Södermalm. The school is popular; many want their children here. Today, the school has just over 900 students in grades F–9 and just over 100 employees.

A good operation, a pleasant atmosphere, and enthusiastic staff characterize the school. The student's best interest is the guiding star in the decisions we make.

Your role

The assignment includes teaching Swedish and English in grades 7–9. For the academic year 2026–2027, the majority of the position will be in English. The role also includes being a mentor, together with another teacher colleague, for a class in grade 7. Collaboration takes place in both work teams and subject teams.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who have:

• Teacher education
• Licens/certification in Swedish and English
• Experience working in grades 7–9
• Good ability to build relationships with students
• Good ability to work independently
