Teacher in Chemistry / Biology, Grades 7–9
We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher who is passionate about making chemistry and biology exciting. You want to help create an stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment where theory meets practice.
About the position
As a teacher in chemistry and biology, you are responsible for teaching in grades 7–9. Your role involves planning and conducting teaching based on scientific grounds, where you alternate theoretical lectures with laboratory exercises and systematic investigations.
You work to strengthen students' analytical skills and their ability to use subject knowledge to solve problems and understand their surroundings. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in the school's quality improvement work.
We are looking for you who:
- Are a certified teacher in chemistry and biology for the later years of primary school.
- Have a very secure and clear classroom leadership with a focus on creating a conducive study environment.
- Work with a high degree of structure and predictability, which is central for students to master abstract concepts.
- Have a professional approach to assessment, incorporating formative methods to make students' progress towards knowledge requirements visible.
- Are responsible, solution-oriented, and wish to contribute to an inspiring work climate.
Other information
The position is a permanent employment (80%) with a 6-month probationary period. Start date Autumn Term 2026. We conduct rolling recruitment, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
