Trägymnasiet in Ljusdal is a small independent school specializing in the Construction and Infrastructure program. We focus on delivering knowledge with this future-oriented profession in mind, continuously working to improve our operations step by step.

This autumn 2026, we are looking for a certified teacher in Mathematics and Natural Science to join our team. Students in the Construction program study Mathematics Level 1a and Natural Science Level 1a1. In some academic years, we also have students who require instruction in basic school mathematics. Since you will only teach within one program in your subjects, there are excellent opportunities for cross-curricular work and a high degree of subject integration.

The position is part-time (minimum 50% during the 2026/2027 academic year). There is an opportunity to increase the percentage of the position if you are qualified to teach Physical Education & Health or other subjects that fit as individual choices offered by the school. We are open to several possible subject combinations, but our primary need at the moment is for a PE teacher and a teacher in Mathematics and Natural Science (see separate ad).

The position includes all common teacher responsibilities, including mentorship.

Knowledge and experience from the construction industry or as a vocational teacher are considered advantageous.
