About the Position

1 position.

We are now looking for enthusiastic PE teachers for grades 7-9 at Perslundaskolan in Ockelbo Municipality. Together with your work team, we want to create the best conditions and a safe school day for all students. As a teacher, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating your teaching in collaboration with your colleagues. You will also collaborate closely with the student health service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in Physical Education and Health.
• Mentorship in collaboration with a mentor colleague.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Physical Education and Health. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an advantage. You should have a solid understanding of the school's governing documents and be able to use this knowledge effectively in your daily work.

To succeed in the role, you have a professional approach and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are an engaged educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great emphasis on adapting your teaching to your students' different conditions and needs.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required upon employment.

Employment Details

The position is a temporary assignment for the school year 2026/2027, with a possible extension. The form of employment is fixed-term.

Within Ockelbo Municipality, there is a political decision that a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority must be required for new hires.
