Qualified Teacher in Mathematics, Science, and Technology for Grades 7-9 at Vittra Gävle

What we are looking for:

We are looking for you who are a qualified and eligible primary school teacher, primarily in the subjects of mathematics, science (NO), and technology for grades 7–9.

We want you to have clear leadership skills and to keep student goal achievement in focus. We see you as a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities.

At Vittra, we want to be at the forefront when it comes to digital tools for increased goal achievement. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are interested in and have experience using IT in your teaching, for example, Google Classroom, Google Drive, and Magma. We also have a well-developed working method within Schoolsoft.

We value that you want to work in a team and, through the exchange of experiences and competence, contribute to collegial development in the work team and in the entire operation. We offer competence-enhancing work focused on teaching improvement, which takes place both locally and centrally via lecturer and author Simon Hjort at Linköping University. This is based on the literature Effective Teaching and Deepening Students' Learning.
