About the job

De la Gardiegymnasiet, one of Sweden's largest upper secondary schools, offers a wide range of programs and courses. With approximately 2,000 students and just over 250 employees, it is a school full of life and opportunities. We are now looking for a certified upper secondary teacher with qualifications in restaurant subjects who wants to help develop our teaching and contribute to the students' future. Here, you will work in a large and dynamic organization with many opportunities. Responsibilities

We are looking for a vocational teacher for the Restaurant and Food program. The position is focused on cooking/chef work and serving, and also includes teaching adults.

The role includes teaching, mentoring, and working with program and subject development in both program working groups and subject groups.

Who are you?

Certified teacher with qualifications in restaurant subjects. Additional qualifications in food and beverage with sensory analysis are meritorious. We also look for you to have good restaurant experience and experience working with upper secondary students.

You should have good pedagogical skills and be able to inspire and engage our students. In lessons, you work actively to ensure that every student develops as far as possible based on their prerequisites.

Extract from the Criminal Record

Before being offered a position, you as a candidate are required to show an extract from the criminal record when working in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to the LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with HVB homes (Hem för vård eller boende), work with the elderly or people with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
