About the Workplace

The Kyrkskolan unit consists of two primary schools, Kyrk- and Balderskolan. Kyrkskolan is a grades F-6 school centrally located in Danderyd with approx. 400 students. Balderskolan is beautifully situated in a villa area in western Danderyd and covers grades F-3 with approx. 200 students.

In our schools, you will work in well-functioning teams together with engaged and experienced colleagues. Here, students get a solid knowledge base and the opportunity to develop their abilities.

Job Description

We are looking for two childcare assistants (barnskötare) for our lovely school, Kyrkskolan. You will work in close collaboration with leisure-time center teachers, preschool teachers, regular teachers, and other staff.

You will work based on the curriculum goals in Lgr22. You plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical activities together with your colleagues in the team. As a childcare assistant, you support the students in their development and ensure a safe environment.

These positions are fixed-term from August 2026 to June 2027.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated as a Childcare Assistant (Barnskötare) or have equivalent education/experience from work within pedagogical activities.
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written).

The following are considered meritorious:

• Several years of experience working in a leisure-time center or other pedagogical activities.
• Experience working with children with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.
• Experience working in an integrated (age-homogeneous) leisure-time center.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and your role. You are secure and stable in new situations, and both children and parents find security with you. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
