Unika's short-term care homes on Stålbogvägen and Bränningevägen are located in Bandhagen and Årsta respectively, with a distance of six kilometers between the facilities. At our short-term accommodations, both the environment and support are tailored to each child's individual needs. We customize activities and stays based on what the children and young people themselves enjoy doing, encouraging both physical and calm activities. Every child and young person is met with great attentiveness and respect.
We are currently in an exciting phase of expansion where we are growing and developing our operations. In connection with this, we are looking for more engaged and driven Operations Managers who want to help shape the future support for our children and young people.
About the Role of Operations ManagerAs an Operations Manager, you lead the work across two LSS (Act regarding Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) units, with responsibility for daily operations and business planning. You provide employees with the best conditions to contribute to good and high-quality care and support. With responsibility for personnel, economy, and quality, you monitor the unit's goals and contribute to systematic quality work. Furthermore, you have responsibility for the work environment and are the license holder for your unit. You are part of a team with other Operations Managers, support resources, and the Regional Manager. You sit on the operational management group in the market area and report to the Regional Manager.

You are part of a team with other Operations Managers, support resources, the Regional Manager, and the CEO. You sit on the operational management group in the market area and report to the Regional Manager.
Main Responsibilities:- Responsibility for daily operational activities, personnel, and scheduling
- Conduct systematic quality and operational development work
- Ensure that agreements, assignments, and regulations are followed
- Maintain ongoing contact with users, employees, and relatives
- Economy and budget related to the operations
- Ensure occupancy based on budget and set goals
- Collaborate with support functions within the group
Your educational background must meet the formal requirements to be a license holder for an LSS operation. You are a secure leader with previous experience working with the adult target group within LSS. As a leader, you are brave, direct, and clear in your communication, and you enjoy working close to the operations.
To succeed in the role, you need to have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changes in daily work. You apply a coaching, solution-focused approach and work towards set goals. Additionally, you have understanding and knowledge of economics and can monitor and analyze the unit's results.
Qualifications:Requirements:
- University education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education, according to requirements from the Swedish Inspectorate for Care (IVO)
- Education in social law, at least 7.5 credits (if not a social worker)
- Previous experience of work within LSS
- Management experience
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
Meritorious if you additionally have:
- Educations within methodology for social work, e.g., clarifying pedagogy
- Experience of budget work and economic analysis
- Experience from work within private care operations
- Experience of leading operations in development and change
- Worked in a larger organization and/or company in strong growth
The majority of your working time is located in the operations to enable close leadership. The operations are located in Årsta and Bandhagen.
