Support Assistant for LSS Housing in Sköndal

We are currently looking for a support assistant for our LSS housing facility in Sköndal. The position is full-time (100%), with working hours covering days, evenings, and sleeping on-call shifts. The start date is October 1, 2026.

About the Job

We are seeking a support assistant or housing support worker on a full-time basis for our LSS service housing in Sköndal.

The housing is aimed at individuals in person group 1, specifically young adults aged 18 and over with mild intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions.

The facility is located in Sköndal and consists of 14 apartments across two buildings, shared with other tenants.

Your primary responsibility is to plan and design support, services, and care in consultation with the user. The goal is to ensure the user can live like everyone else, with good quality of life and living conditions.

You will work to create high-quality care and are expected to engage all your senses to contribute to a dignified and independent life for people with various types of disabilities.

Individuals will receive support to manage their daily lives, make choices, and be motivated towards an active life in society.

Providing support and services to people with disabilities is a broad, varied, and challenging job. Success requires collaboration with colleagues, networks, and other professions. You will be part of a small team working together with users on care and activities.

Requirements

  • Education as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or equivalent.
  • Valid Category B driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in pedagogical work with the target group.
  • Knowledge of structured work using clarifying pedagogy and understanding of different disabilities.

You are expected to work with a low-affective approach and adapt your attitude based on the user's needs and challenges. You work from a solution-focused perspective and must be able to handle unexpected events calmly and securely. You must follow instructions as well as legal requirements and regulations.

You have a positive attitude and good self-awareness. We are looking for someone with professional maturity, who is responsible and has a creative mindset. You must be able to work both in a team and independently, taking initiative.

A strong desire and drive to promote human development based on individual prerequisites is essential.
