We are now looking for an assistant for our cool 9-year-old girl in Tumba

Who am I?

I am a happy and cool 9-year-old girl who likes to be active. I live with my parents and my little brother in Tumba. I like it when things happen! Swinging, listening to music, walks, and swimming are some of my favorite activities. I sit in a wheelchair and need help with everything in my daily life. During the day, I am at school and in after-school care, where you follow along and help me if you work day shifts.

I do not have spoken language, but you who get to know me will soon understand what I like, what I want, and when I want to play around. I communicate all the time – just in my own way. With the right person by my side, we can have a lot of fun together!

What help do I need?

I have extensive medical needs, so it is important that you are careful, responsible, and confident in yourself. You need to be able to provide support in daily life, such as personal hygiene, tube feeding, medication, and transfers. It is also important that you have a watchful eye and a calm heart, as I need extra care and help with my breathing and epilepsy.

Who are you?

You are warm, engaged, and quick to laugh. You enjoy working with children and like to keep your own inner child. You are proactive, lively, and confident – and not afraid to take responsibility. You need to be comfortable with and able to help me by inviting interaction and play with my little brother and other people.

It is a plus if you have experience with similar work or knowledge of medical needs, but the most important thing is your personality. A driver's license is also a plus!

Requirements: You must speak and write fluent Swedish, as the communication regarding my needs is both important and detailed. It is a plus if you can step in for extra shifts when my regular assistant is sick.

We are looking for someone who can work 2 evenings per week from 16:30–21:30, and as needed in case of absence.
