About me
Hi there! I'm an 18-year-old guy living in Hässelby. I enjoy bowling, music, video games, and having fun! Sometimes I go to music camps outside of Stockholm, and my assistants come with me. I communicate using words, hands, and facial expressions, so it's great if you are good at reading cues and adapting to me.
My life is a mix of adventures and quiet days at home. I need you to accompany me to school, activities, and help me at home. I hope you want to become part of my team!

About you
You are a secure and responsible person who likes being an important support for someone else. You are quick to laugh but can also be focused when needed. It is a big plus if you have experience with alternative communication.
You need to master the Swedish language well so that we understand each other.

It is a requirement that you are a non-smoker, and it is important that you have good physical fitness to assist me with transfers. You will also assist me with my basic needs, such as personal hygiene.

Staffing:
This position includes an extended (and compensated) staffing duty, which means that during certain weeks you must be available outside of regular working hours. In situations where intervention is required, you will either call in a substitute or step in yourself to assist.

This is Assistans i Balans's way of ensuring that our clients always have a familiar assistant by their side. The duty is shared with some of your colleagues, who work according to a regular schedule.

The position:
Is at 50% (20 hours per week) to allow space for taking on more shifts as needed under your staffing responsibility. Working hours are spread throughout the entire day, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights (sleeping night), all days of the year and weekends, according to a rolling schedule.
