Personal Assistant for Team in Järfälla

I am now looking for another personal assistant for my team in Järfälla, north of Stockholm.

I have a physical limitation, which means you will need to assist me with most things in my everyday life, such as house chores, cooking, and personal hygiene. I guide my assistants through verbal communication in both Swedish and English.

Your workplace will mostly be in my home, as I spend a lot of my time there, but sometimes we go out on errands together with my assistants. Occasionally, I go to train in the pool at the swimming hall; therefore, some water experience is required so you can assist me in the pool. Swimming ability is not a requirement.

I am looking for a person who is both mentally and physically strong, as the work is very challenging both physically and mentally. You will need to assist me with manual transfers when the need arises.

It is a requirement that you speak and understand English at least at a conversational level to understand and be able to communicate in English, as the introduction will be conducted in English.

Qualities I expect you to possess include high work ethics, flexibility regarding working hours and tasks, a positive attitude, a passion for personal assistant work, and seeing the employment as long-term, as I hope we will work together for a longer period.

It is a requirement that you are a non-smoking woman aged 30-55 years. It is not a requirement that you are a Swedish speaker; it is fine with me if we speak English. If you are not yet a Swedish citizen, you must have a residence and work permit for the employment. The information you provide regarding your residence permit will be verified with the Swedish Migration Agency for safety reasons.

I am looking for someone who wants to work approximately 30 hours per week, covering day, evening, and night shifts, as well as extra hours if needed. Between March 23 and April 22, you will need to work up to 40 hours a week due to an employee's leave of absence. We are a small working group that covers for each other in case of illness or leave.

All courses at the Assistans i Balans office are held in Swedish, except for the introduction and the support/mentoring we, as a work team, can provide in English if needed.

Individual salary setting: Agreement according to FREMIA/KOMMUNAL.
