About the operations:

Kompassen Escorting & Substitute Care is a service provided in accordance with the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We only employ staff based on need, including several relatives employed by the municipality. The service is aimed at children and adults who need support to participate in social contexts or to relieve parents of children with functional impairments.

Substitute Care: The task involves you working with younger children in their homes or local area. The goal is to relieve the child's parents so they can rest, do shopping, or spend time with siblings.

Escorting: The task involves accompanying the customer on daily activities. This could be as support during a bus ride to university or to help the customer pursue their leisure interests.

You may have several different assignments, both as a substitute caregiver and an escort. Assignments are based on a certain number of hours per month.

 

Responsibilities:

As a substitute caregiver, you support families with children who have functional impairments by creating a safe and stimulating environment. The assignment may involve play, crafts, and activities at home or in the local area, focusing on giving the child a meaningful and fun time.

For this assignment, we are looking for two substitute caregivers who will work together. This is a double-staffed assignment, totaling 24 hours per month.

We are looking for two engaged and active individuals who wish to support a 7-year-old boy in his daily life and leisure time. He is happy, active, and loves to run, jump, cycle, and explore the world around him. He has a great interest in letters, animals, and language.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with people with various functional impairments or from healthcare and social care.
  • Knowledge and experience within the autism spectrum.
  • A pedagogical education in child development and functional impairments is advantageous.

The employment is intermittent (a need-based employment where you receive compensation per hour worked) starting as soon as possible. We apply individual salary setting.
