The Department of Communication, Quality Technology and Information Systems operates at both Campus Östersund and Campus Sundsvall. The department conducts education and research in the subjects falling under the areas of Communication, Quality Technology, and Information Systems.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities vary slightly between different courses but may include supervising students, grading assignments, and assisting in teaching on our Informatics program with a focus on System Development. The work can be performed remotely.
Qualifications
Those to be employed as teaching assistants must meet the requirements described in Mid Sweden University's employment regulations.
Eligible for employment as a teaching assistant are those admitted to undergraduate or advanced level studies.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation criteria applied in the selection process are the applicant's suitability for the task. Special consideration is given to previous teaching experience as well as study results and grades. Additionally, the applicant must have completed a total of at least 30 higher education credits (HEC) in the subject of Informatics or equivalent.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for you who are self-motivated, service-oriented, and have a genuine interest in helping and guiding other students. You work in a structured manner, communicate pedagogically, and deliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes.
Processing
The processing of the employment follows the forms specified in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance and proceeds in accordance with Mid Sweden University's employment regulations.
Employment and Start Date
The employment covers 20% of full-time from 2026-08-17 or as agreed, but no later than 2027-02-01.
The employment may be renewed in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 12 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100).
