Do you want to work at the heart of the power grid where structure, technology, and collaboration meet? Documentation is a vital part of our socially important operations, and here you have the chance to contribute to the exciting developments taking place within the power grid.

About the role

The role of Technical Documenter involves ensuring that our information regarding power grid facilities is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to use. Much of the work takes place in our network information system (Trimble NIS), where we document, ensure quality, and contribute to the development of how we work with data and systems.

You will also become a key support to colleagues throughout the organization – helping others understand, use, and trust the information that is crucial for the planning, operation, and development of the power grid.

In short: You create structure in complex information and make it usable – every day.

Who are you?

You preferably have a technical education with an electrical focus, or equivalent experience that we consider comparable.

We would appreciate if you have experience from the power grid sector, but you are welcome to apply even if you are at the beginning of your career. We offer support and good opportunities for development.

Experience with NIS/GIS systems is an advantage. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English, both verbally and in writing.

You are interested in technology and systems and find it stimulating to work at the intersection of IT and power grid operations. You thrive in a role where you work both independently and collaboratively, and where you get to be a support to colleagues regarding documentation and system usage.

We believe you enjoy creating structure and order in complex information. You are meticulous and have an eye for detail, while also understanding the big picture and how the information is used in operations.

As a person, you are curious and development-oriented. You want to improve processes, contribute to higher quality, and are not afraid to take initiative when something can be done better.

The position requires a valid driver's license (Category B) and Swedish citizenship (a requirement for security clearance).

What we offer

Here, you get to drive the development towards a more sustainable society in an industry that is a prerequisite for our welfare. We work together in secure teams where we dare to test new things, grow, and succeed. Here you meet engaged people, a sustainable workplace, and the opportunity to combine a career with an active life.

At Jämtkraft, you are important. We think long-term, we invest in you, and we want you to thrive and help us move forward. Therefore, you do not need to know everything when you start. We will equip you with the competencies you lack. Come as you are – simply put, this is where you want to be!

More benefits at Jämtkraft:
