We are now looking for three engaged and structured case handlers who want to help develop our work within waste management and recycling. With us, you will work in a future-oriented industry with significant importance for the environment – both locally and globally. We welcome your application!

About the role

You will become part of the Waste and Recycling department, where we are just over 20 employees working together for sustainable and efficient waste management.

As a case handler, you will have a central role in planning, following up on, and developing our operations.

You play a key role in ensuring that our waste management complies with current legislation in an efficient and environmentally sustainable manner.

Examples of tasks:

  • Collaborate with contractors, residents, and other stakeholders
  • Manage driving lists, orders, and other administration related to operations
  • Process waste cases and answer customer inquiries
  • Follow up on statistics and key figures within waste management
  • Participate in tenders, orders, and contract management
  • Work with information and influence campaigns regarding waste, sorting, and reuse
  • Contribute to the development of routines, policies, and waste plans

Location: You will be based at one of our offices in Sveg, Hede, Funäsdalen, Svenstavik, Hackås, or Bräcke.

About you

We are looking for someone who is stable and self-assured, and who can maintain calmness and make well-founded decisions even under pressure.

You are structured and meticulous, with the ability to prioritize and create order in a changing environment. When challenges arise, you see opportunities and take responsibility for finding solutions.

You work independently but also thrive in collaboration with others. With your sensitivity and flexibility, you contribute to a good work climate and the group's joint development. You are communicative and service-oriented, which makes it easy for you to relate to both colleagues, residents, and partners.

The work involves a fair amount of writing at times, so you need to be computer literate and able to express yourself clearly and professionally. Since the area of operation is geographically large, a B-driving license is also required.

Personal suitability is highly valued – and we would appreciate it if you have a strong commitment to the environment and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum upper secondary education
  • B-driving license (manual transmission)
  • Good knowledge of the waste sector, preferably from municipal operations or waste companies
  • Knowledge of current environmental and waste legislation
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Good IT skills and experience working in various digital systems

Merits:

  • Experience in case handling, procurement, or coordination within public operations
  • Knowledge of our operational system EDP Future
  • Good geographical knowledge of Berg, Bräcke, and Härjedalen
