The position is located within one of the two sub-units of the HR Department. The department is responsible for region-wide personnel and employer issues of both a strategic and supportive nature, with the mandate to contribute to the development and results of the operations. The HR Department develops and implements region-wide HR processes in the operations and supports the operations' managers within the entire employer policy area.
The unit is responsible for Region Jämtland Härjedalen's employment terms and wage formation, administration of salaries, pensions, and fees, labor law support, and ensuring that system support related to salary and PA (Performance and Development) administration contributes to the development and results of the operations.

Job Description
The position of HR Consultant specializing in labor law, employment terms, and wage formation is a new role created as part of the HR Department's development work to secure an operationally close, accessible, and knowledgeable HR organization. The position is part of a team specialized in employment terms, labor law, and agreements, consisting of HR strategists, HR consultants, and staffing specialists.
The assignment includes, among other things, working with the team to:
- Contribute to the development and management of the region's benefits and employment terms.
- Provide support to managers and HR in personnel matters concerning personal reasons and misconduct.
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on the salary review process.
- Conduct salary analysis, job evaluation, and contribute to the work on the region's wage formation.
- Develop and manage collective agreements, and maintain dialogue with employee organizations.
- Assist in contract and dispute negotiations.
- Monitor developments in labor law case law.
- Support the interpretation and application of internal routines, labor laws, and agreements.
- Train and create educational materials on the subject for HR as well as for managers.
- Be helpful in staffing the support function.
The work will place high demands on the ability to collaborate with many parties, both internally within HR and with managers in the operations.
Qualifications
Education and Professional Experience:
- 180 credits within the field of Human Resources, or another area considered relevant based on the employer's assessment.
- And/or several years of professional experience in a relevant position.
- Work experience in wage formation, drafting employment terms, labor law, and negotiation is meritorious.
Other:
- Ability to clearly, structured, and pedagogically communicate processes, guidelines, and decisions to both managers and employees.
- Ability to analyze needs, see the big picture, and understand the connections between operations, processes, systems, and user behaviors.
- Experience in translating analysis into practical solutions and operation-adapted implementations.
Language:
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
