Are you looking for varied administrative work where you can combine service, structure, and responsibility with meeting people during life's significant moments? Then the position of Administrator at Krokoms Pastorat might be for you.

Krokoms Pastorat consists of seven parishes that collaborate. We have approximately 40 permanent employees, plus additional seasonal staff, who together work with parish, service, and funeral operations. Currently, eight people work at the office.

Working at Krokoms Pastorat means becoming part of an organization with many different contact points and activities in both small and large contexts. We aim to provide good meeting places for faith and life for people of all ages.

Job Responsibilities

The role is broad and varied, with a focus on funeral operations. You will be an important contact person for our parish members and will meet people in times of grief. Therefore, a listening and empathetic approach is crucial.

We are looking for someone who takes great responsibility for their work, is organized, and can keep order even when the workday involves many different tasks and quick transitions between them.

To fit the role of Administrator with us, you need to be independent in your working style, while also enjoying collaboration and being part of a smaller work group.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • administering parish activities such as booking funerals and other church services, handling planting agreements, etc.
  • administering funeral operations such as grave rights, service to the church sexton, etc.
  • answering phones, receiving visitors, and providing service to parishioners
  • handling and registering documents in the diary system
  • responsible for administration related to GDPR
  • other administrative tasks within the office.

Qualifications

  • At a minimum, you have a secondary education or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
  • Experience with administrative tasks.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits

  • Valid driver's license (Category B)
  • We prefer that you are a member of the Church of Sweden.
