Do you want to work at a centrally located preschool in Växjö, with large premises and a fantastic forest playground? Welcome to us at Fagrabäcks Preschool.

For the upcoming school year, we are making a push for aesthetic subjects. Here we will get help from an atelier teacher whom all staff will meet every week. Starting from different materials, we focus on together increasing our material knowledge, our expertise, and teaching methods based on scientific grounds.

Fagrabäcks Preschool currently has a large proportion of preschool teachers but is hiring more because we have an increased need. Recruitment is for a section with children aged 3-5 years.

As a preschool teacher, you have knowledge and ideas about how you, together with your colleagues, should realize the goals and values of the curriculum. Your focus on the child is clear and is reflected in your approach in everyday life. You also have knowledge of how you make visible and further develop children's learning processes with the help of pedagogical documentation. We would like you to have a strong drive to keep the development of the pedagogical environment alive.

At the preschool, we want to give ourselves time to fill up from within, for a sustainable working life.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher; previous experience in pedagogical work is meritorious.

We imagine you are a preschool teacher who focuses on the best interests of children and families. You have the ability to create curiosity and engagement, which contributes to children's security and learning. You see it as natural to take your place in the group, lead work, and create relationships with those around you. You are close to play and convey joy and energy. You act as a role model and like to work process-oriented. Furthermore, you are curious about research and rely on current research status when choosing teaching methods. You are methodical and can reflect and analyze to understand how you can influence children's changing knowledge. You like to learn new things and want to be involved in developing the preschool as a whole.
