About the workplace
Hoks Preschool is a facility for three children's groups with a professional and positive work climate within the team. Our sense of togetherness is a force that binds us together in our mission. We work closely with all children at the preschool, and this position involves special responsibility for the youngest children in the group.
Working as a preschool teacher offers unique and meaningful opportunities to contribute to children's development and learning. "TOGETHER" is a core value we have committed to in the education we offer the children at Preschool Unit 1, where Hoks Preschool is included.
Using the tools of observation, documentation, and reflection, you will make visible children's influence and learning processes, both individually and in groups. Working with a multilingual pedagogical documentation approach is a natural and important part of our systematic quality work and our operational development.
The preschools in Vaggeryd Municipality work together with Remida, which is a pedagogical activity and a center for scrap materials. Remida's philosophy is based on the idea that materials become pedagogical in the children's hands, where creativity and a sustainable future are always related to what is offered. Remida is also an arena for collegial learning for us, where educators meet in various networks.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. You should have an interest in pedagogical documentation as an approach, and experience in this area is meritorious.
You should have a good ability to build relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You should participate actively in the work team and plan teaching based on a project-based approach with pedagogical documentation as a guiding principle. Project-based work is our way of working systematically and cross-disciplinary. You should have an approach where the children's perspective is in focus.
