RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and driven upper secondary school teacher in Swedish as a Second Language and another subject, who is passionate about supporting students in their language development. If you also have qualifications in Swedish, English, or another subject, we consider it an advantage. The position can be adapted based on your competencies.

As a teacher with us, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on current regulatory documents.
• Adapt teaching to students' different prerequisites and language levels.
• Work with formative assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Communicate with guardians and external partners as needed.

The role also includes mentorship and participation in working groups/program teams. You are expected to actively contribute to the school's pedagogical development work and collaborate with colleagues regarding the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Teacher's degree with qualifications to teach Swedish as a Second Language and preferably another subject.
• Ability to build good and trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
• Good teamwork skills and a professional attitude.
• Commitment to students' development, learning, and goal achievement.
